Taegan Schwalbe

Psychotherapist (MA)

Hello! I’m Taegan Schwalbe (she/her) – and I offer integrative therapy for adults, adolescents, and couples. My clinical areas of focus include trauma, grief, relationship stress, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and identity exploration. I also provide exposure and response prevention for OCD and interoceptive exposure for panic disorder.

I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, where I was trained in integrative, relational, and person-centered therapy. My approach holds therapy as a collaborative process built upon trust, curiosity, and respect. Through my work, I help clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

It is central to my work to uplift my clients’ humanity – honoring the parts that make each person who they are. I hold deeply that each person has the tools within themselves to live a meaningful and fulfilling life – and that the work of therapy can empower clients to reach toward these strengths while removing barriers.

Above all else, I strive to create an environment in which my clients feel safe. Safe to explore themselves, safe to try new things, safe to build trust, and safe to change. I welcome individuals of ALL backgrounds and identities – and am an enthusiastic provider of mental health services for the LGBTQIA+ community.

It would be an honor to support you in your mental health journey. If you’re ready to begin, please reach out to schedule an appointment – meaningful change can begin today.
