Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling is an in-network provider for many insurance companies, including:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS, BCBSMN)
  • Medica
  • Optum
  • UCare
  • United Medical Resources (UMR)
  • United Behavioral Health (UBH)
  • United Healthcare (UHC)

Please note that not every therapist at Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling is in-network with all of the above insurance companies. To ensure you’re matched with a provider covered by your plan, please contact our office. We’re happy to help find the right fit for you.

If your insurance provider is not listed above, you may still be able to use your “out-of-network” benefits. To confirm coverage, contact your insurance provider using the phone number on your insurance card. You may need to provide our NPI# (1104564145) during the inquiry.

Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards.

If you are using insurance, Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling will submit a claim to your insurance provider for the cost of your appointment. Within 1-6 weeks (depending on your insurance company), both you and our office will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). This document outlines the amount paid by your insurance, any discounts applied to our standard rate, and the remaining balance, if any, for which you are responsible.

Once the EOB is processed, our office will charge the credit card you have on file for any balance due. Charges are processed on Mondays for outstanding amounts. Please note that Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling does not issue regular invoices; instead, you can rely on your EOB for a detailed breakdown of charges.

To review and pay your outstanding balance before your card is charged, you may log into your Client Portal between Friday and Sunday evening.

If you have any questions about your bill or need to update your billing or insurance information, please contact our office at 612-202-8703 or email us at admin@tctca.com.

At Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling, we value both your time and your therapist’s. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or arrive more than 15 minutes late, a cancellation fee may apply.
