I have special training and interests in working with younger children, teens and adults on issues of anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and women’s issues especially identity-building during times of transition. I can relate to the struggles of balancing family, work, relationships and time for oneself.
As a mental health therapist who has worked for many years alongside teachers within the school system, I have a deep appreciation for the work that they do. I have seen the effects of teacher stress and burnout firsthand and feel honored to work with teachers who are coping with the additional stressors associated with educating students at this time. Teachers-are-anxious-and-overwhelmed. It is important to support teachers and the work they are doing.

I specialize in Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Mindfulness-Based therapeutic strategies. I utilize a client-centered approach to therapy, as it creates a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I offer a safe environment where my clients are free from moral judgment and other biases that may hinder personal development.
