Now Hiring - Clinic Supervisor (W-2)

Twin Cities Therapy and Counseling is seeking a dynamic Clinical Supervisor to oversee daily clinical operations, provide consultation, supervision, and mentorship to clinicians, and maintain a manageable client caseload. This role balances 50% clinical leadership—including policy development, staff support, and program oversight—with 50% direct client care, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based therapy. The Clinical Supervisor fosters a collaborative, ethical, and professional environment, supporting clinician growth and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions

Clinical Leadership & Supervision (50%)

  • Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide 1:1, dyad, and group supervision to pre-licensed clinicians.
  • Provide 1:1 and group consultation on complex clinical cases and ethical decision-making.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Participate in program development, staff training, onboarding, and issue resolution.
  • Support recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new providers.
  • Promote a collaborative, ethical, and transparent culture within the clinical team.


Direct Client Care (50%)

  • Maintain a direct client caseload providing evidence-based therapy.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions.
  • Document sessions accurately in compliance with practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with management and clinical staff, both verbally and in writing.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from a program leading to MFT licensure.
  • Licensed in Minnesota as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with Board-Approved LMFT Supervisor designation (dual LMFT and LPCC Supervisor designation preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision, consultation, and mentorship of pre-licensed clinicians.
  • Knowledge of clinical policies, procedures, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage a moderate client caseload while fulfilling supervisory responsibilities.
  • Technology proficiency:

– Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation, billing, and reporting.
– Telehealth platforms for secure virtual sessions.
– Productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, maintain HIPAA compliance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $85,000-$120,000 (total estimated compensation includes a combination of base salary and production-based compensation)
  • Monthly stipends for continuing education (CEUs) and health insurance,
  • 4 weeks PTO, plus paid sick and safety leave

The total compensation package is designed to reward both clinical leadership and direct client care, with flexibility based on experience, licensure, and supervisory credentials.
