Stacy L. Ellman, MS
Stacy holds a Master’s of Science degree from Capella University with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and a B.A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in Psychology with an emphasis in Social Work. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Stacy’s experience is providing counseling to adults in crisis, crisis group work, women’s advocacy and counseling, and individual therapy for adults and teens in crisis or going through transitions.
Individually or in a group setting Stacy works with the client to identify strengths, cognitive processing patterns, coping skills, behavior management, and in turn these are used to help the client cultivate fulfilling life experiences. She is trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques used to address issues such as depression, anxiety, suicidal impulses, stress, trauma, career challenges, parental issues, life transitions, and grief.
Stacy has been and will continue to be a life long learner and avid researcher in counseling, human behavior, and spirituality. She enjoys music, sports, animals, reading, writing, travel, and spending time with her family.
